More of what Richard Sherman said about how Colin Kaepernick remains unsigned after some teams lost their starting quarterbacks to injuries: "No, I'm not that surprised. This league is odd in that way. I think they had a point to make and they made it." Sherman said he doesn't buy the idea that Kaepernick is unsigned because he may be a poor fit in some offenses, saying there are employed quarterbacks who are "terrible in any system." Sherman: "Then you hear these coaches and scouts that are like, 'Well, we didn't like him coming out of college.' People didn't like Tom Brady coming out of college; he went in the sixth round. These people aren't know-it-alls. They don't know everything. These scouts don't know everything. Aaron Rodgers fell to 24. How many people would turn around and regret that decision. People should be losing their jobs because they're idiots. You've heard every excuse in the book for why he doesn't have a job, but you see what it is. They've agreed not to get him a job and it is what it is." Sherman said he thinks Kaepernick will have a hard time winning his grievance against the NFL over alleged collusion.
