Falcons owner Arthur Blank still says there are no concerns about the roof at the new $1.5 billion Mercedes-Benz Stadium, set to open next Saturday with the Falcons' exhibition vs. the Arizona Cardinals. The retractable roof will remain closed for the game and for the start of the regular season. President Rich McKay said no timetable for when the roof will be left opened.

The Dolphins signed free-agent linebacker Rey Maualuga on Saturday, a league source confirms. Maualuga will compete with Mike Hull for the starting job at middle linebacker after second-round pick Raekwon McMillan (knee) was injured for the season.

Falcons officially announce signing of OT Austin Pasztor, who last started for the Cleveland Browns at right tackle. The team waived OL Marquis Lucas. Pasztor should have chance to compete for swing tackle spot behind starters Ryan Schraeder and Jake Matthews. Coach Dan Quinn said this week the backup tackle situation was something that needed to be addressed.
