With the Cowboys coming to town this week, it's only natural that the 49ers will honor Dwight Clark on Sunday. Clark, of course, holds a special place in Niners' lore for "The Catch" against Dallas in the 1982 NFC Championship game. Clark, who announced he had been diagnosed with ALS in March, is expected to attend and there will be halftime festivities honoring him and 35 other members of the Super Bowl XVI champions. Clark and Joe Montana are also expected to address the crowd. All fans attending will receive a Dwight Clark t-shirt.

What does Mike Zimmer need to see out of Teddy Bridgewater in practice to determine if he can play this season? Movement, being able to protect himself and avoiding defenders that break free are all at the top of Zimmer's list. The coach says he is able see some of those things in practice despite it not being at game speed. The key as the Vikings ease Bridgewater back in will be seeing how the quarterback reacts to scenarios of where the environment is not as controlled as what he's been used to over the last 14 months.
