Browns owner Jimmy Haslam to's to Pat MacManamon on whether he has any issue with the Titans' ownership structure: "That's a commissioner issue and not something I care to comment on." Roger Goodall has said the NFL has an issue with the Titans' ownership structure, which has Amy Adams Strunk as controlling owner. John Mara of the Giants (in Jan. of 2016) and Jerry Jones of the Cowboys (in Jan. of 2017) have each said they have no problem with the Titans' ownership structure. Jones said "I'm not in that segment that has any critique of her role. I'm not. I don't have any suggestions altering the structure." Though he's now been asked, we don't know if Haslam is in that segment.

49ers RB DuJuan Harris, who was a non-tendered restricted free agent, is returning to the team on a one-year deal. Harris' agent confirmed Harris' return on Monday afternoon. Harris spent most of last season as one of two primary backups to Carlos Hyde. He finished with 138 yards on 38 carries and 8 catches for 115 yards with a touchdown.

Relocating hasn't helped the Raiders win games. The team's best winning percentage came during the its first stint in Oakland (.634). It has dropped when the team relocated to Los Angeles (.590) then fell further when the Raiders moved back to Oakland (.406).

The Bills have claimed DE Scott Crichton off waivers from the Vikings, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates. Crichton, a third-round pick in 2014, had been a disappointment in three seasons with Minnesota, totaling only 10 tackles and no sacks. He has the size (6-foot-3, 273 pounds) to be a rotational depth player at defensive end for Sean McDermott's 4-3 system in Buffalo; he will carry a $933,081 cap number if he makes the Bills' roster.

Free agent OT Nick Becton visited with the Lions according to ESPN Insider Field Yates. Becton had last been with Chicago and before that New Orleans and what was San Diego (now Los Angeles).

A Panthers spokesperson refuted a report by Jason La Canfora of that "many other owners'' expect Carolina owner Jerry Richardson, 80, to sell the team before he dies. The team also refuted speculation that Richardson is skipping the NFL owners meeting in Phoenix because of health issues. "Mr. Richardson is healthy, vigorous, happy and fully engaged in the business of the Carolina Panthers,'' Steven Drummond said in a statement. "The team is absolutely not for sale. These reports are based on the misinterpretation of an agenda item. No owner is more committed to his team than Mr. Richardson.''
