The Vikings did not give the guard an injury designation on their final injury report of the week, implying he's ready to return from a hip injury for Monday's game against the New York Giants. Sharrif Floyd and David Morgan are the only Vikings players that were given an injury designation for Monday night; both players are out.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and former NBA player Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf met for over an hour in Berkeley, Calif., on Friday, a source told The Undefeated. Among the topics they spoke about was their protests, how they believe they've been misunderstood and the difference between Kaepernick having social media now versus Abdul-Rauf wishing he had it 20 years ago. Abdul-Rauf, 47, protested the national anthem while playing for the Denver Nuggets in 1996 and was suspended one game by the NBA.
