The Steelers will wear this patch on their jerseys this season in honor of Dan Rooney, who died April 13 at age 84. The shamrock represents Rooney's roots as the former ambassador of Ireland. The 'DMR' stands for Dan Milton Rooney, one of the league' most respected owners. "You honor and thank him for all he did, but at the same time you never forget what he did," defensive end Cam Heyward said. "This whole city mourned his great loss."
