There is such a huge separation between the top 5 NFL QB's...and everyone else.

Brady Henderson ESPN

The Seahawks wasted an opportunity to move into first place in the NFC West by losing to Atlanta. Lots of culprits in this one: a brutal start that included two turnovers and 14 straight Atlanta points, not enough pressure on Matt Ryan and an inability to get off the field on third down. The Seahawks' playoff chances drop to 58 percent, according to ESPN's Football Power Index. They would have been at 85 percent with a win.

#Falcons jump into the No. 6 spot in the NFC playoff race with victory. Updated Playoff Picture coming soon.

The Atlanta Falcons now have put together two wins in a row over the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks to improve to 6-4. Most important, the Falcons hold tiebreakers in the NFC over the Seahawks, Cowboys, and Lions after beating all three teams. Atlanta seems to have some of their swagger back after snapping Seattle's 11-game, Monday Night winning streak. The Falcons are 5-1 in the NFC.

Blair Walsh's 52-yard attempt falls about three feet short and the Seahawks (6-4) lose a close one to the Falcons. The Rams (7-3) still hold a one-game lead in the NFC West.

Brady Henderson ESPN

Sheldon Richardson's first sack as a Seahawk comes at an excellent time. He dropped Matt Ryan for a 5-yard loss, forcing Atlanta to punt. Seattle will have a chance at a game-winning drive.

So the Falcons need a first down to seal the game and have to decide whether to run or pass, you say?

Please let the Falcons keep trying to take delay of games and the Seahawks keep declining them for hours

So many big-name injuries have ruined so many matchups, it's a treat to see Matt Ryan & Russell Wilson at work on same field

trey wingo @

A reminder: Seattle has won 11 straight Monday Night games, and Russell Wilson has never lost on Monday Night, 6-0

First time the Falcons have reached 30 points since 30-26 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 3. Falcons have three 30-point games this season. Came into tonight averaging 21.0 points per game.

No bad beats on the total tonight. Seahawks-Falcons goes over total of 46 midway through third quarter.

Brady Henderson ESPN

The Seahawks can't catch a break with injuries. Running back Mike Davis has a groin injury and won't return. He was making his Seahawks debut after being promoted from the practice squad last week and had given Seattle's offense a spark before leaving after the first possession of the third quarter.
