Chiefs defense has 18 takeaways in their eight wins and two takeaways in their six losses.

Dan Graziano ESPN Staff Writer

I caught the Chiefs at a low point – covered their losses to the Giants and Bills in back-to-back weeks. At that time, the offense was struggling and the offensive line was taking the responsibility, saying they had to get it together and do a better job for Kareem Hunt, as they had earlier in the year. Credit to them and their coaches for turning it around. This win is huge.

Why are the Chargers going uptempo and simultaneously running the ball down 17?

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

The Chiefs, by the way, have never won back-to-back division titles, not even going back to their days in the old AFL.

Adam Teicher ESPN Staff Writer

The Chiefs are well on their way to claiming their second straight AFC West championship. They can do so by winning either of their last two games, on Christmas Eve against the Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium or New Year's Eve against the Broncos in Denver. The Chiefs would hold the tiebreaker against either of the two teams that could conceivably wind up with the same record, the Chargers and the Raiders.

Rivers rushed the Chargers to the line trying to take advantage of an unprepared Chiefs defense … and it created a pass pressure

Austin Ekeler has a hand injury, his return is questionable.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Austin Ekeler with his second fumble of the season and Hunter Henry injured on the play. Chargers imploding.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Chargers lucky to give up just a field goal there, now trail 20-13 with 28 seconds left in the third quarter.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Denzel Perryman ruled out with a hamstring injury, Adrian Phillips questionable with an ankle injury.

Just watched that big unsportsmanlike conduct penalty against Trumaine Johnson again. I understand keeping your composure, but that was just an unwarranted flag. It was subtle, and he was walking away when they threw it. That should not impact games (or, given that Carson Wentz tore his ACL shortly thereafter, seasons). Johnson said he was not warned beforehand. "Me and Alshon (Jeffery), we know each other," he said. "We see each other in the offseason. We dab it up, say what's up. So during the game, man, I was really just playing football, competing. And trash talk comes with that. If you can see the play — PBU, got in his face, and we're kind of laughing at each other. I'm talking trash, of course. And the ref told me I was in his face, taunting. It was a big, crucial play. But I was just playing ball. Still I can't believe he threw that flag. Crazy. It really is."

Philip Rivers throws into double coverage for first interception in five games. Marcus Peters puts Chiefs in scoring position with 62-yard return. Awful decision.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

That's a big injury if Adrian Phillips can't come back. He was playing well.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Corey Liuget limps off the field but looks like he's ready to come back in town the game.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Antonio Gates gets his second TD of the season on 10-yard throw from Philip Rivers and Chargers take 13-10 lead. Rivers was 5 for 5 on that drive for 88 yards.

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Nice job by Chargers defense getting off the field to start second half. DT Damion Square with the pass deflection at the line of scrimmage.
