The momentum of the Patriots-Steelers game swung in the direction of the Steelers on a late-second quarter drop by Patriots receiver Julian Edelman on third down. After the play, the Patriots failed to down a punt at the 6 as it became a touchback. The Steelers drove for a field goal before the half to close to 14-10. The Patriots came out slow at the start of the second half and the Steelers then drove for a field goal to close to 14-13 with 8:44 remaining in the third quarter.

Redskins guard Brandon Scherff said his shoulder was sore after the game but that he was OK. He missed the last two series of the first half. But he played all of the second half. "Trainers have numbing medicine and they numbed it up and we were ready to go," Scherff said.

According to ESPN Stats and Information, - the Eagles sent a defensive back as a pass rusher on 13 of Sam Bradford's dropbacks, the same number as the Eagles' total from the first five games of the season. On those plays, the Eagles sacked or pressured Bradford on 8 dropbacks.

49ers DT Arik Armstead has been battling a shoulder injury all season and now appears to be in even more pain. He was down on the sideline holding the shoulder and getting more medical attention. His return is questionable.

Rams RB Todd Gurley said he approached all of his teammates after the game, to tell them he loves them and to tell them to stick together. Said he loves Case Keenum "to death" and noted how he went from 28-of-32 in Week 6 to four interceptions in Week 7. "It is what it is," Gurley said. "We lost the game. You've got to move on from this and stay together. When times get rough, everybody goes to blame, whether it's in the locker room, media, whatever it is. We're on the field together, so we've just got to stay together."

Bills confirm that safety Aaron Williams went to the hospital during Sunday's game to take a precautionary MRI after taking a hard hit from Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry. Williams is now traveling back to Buffalo with his team.
