Teddy Bridgewater got more work in the Vikings' Wednesday practice than he did on Tuesday, throwing a 40-yard pass downfield and hitting Kyle Rudolph on a pair of crossing routes. Bridgewater, who sat out last Thursday night with a sore shoulder, said he plans to play on Sunday against the San Diego Chargers. On his 40-yard throw on Wednesday, Bridgewater overthrew Rudolph, but a referee working the practice called Captain Munnerlyn for pass interference.

C Cam Erving left the Browns joint practice with the Bucs early. Coach Hue Jackson said he took Erving out to be careful: "He just had his ankle sprained a little bit. I wanted to get him out of there so we'd have a chance to play him on Friday (vs. the Bucs). I think he'll be fine."

Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said Trevor Siemian did about "80 percent" of the scheduled work for the starting quarterback in Wednesday's practice. Siemian is still on track to start Saturday against the Rams and Kubiak has said he'll make a decision next week about a starter for the season opener.
