Falcons G Ben Garland gets his head shaved by teammate Quincy Mauger to raise money and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.

The Cowboys have restructured the contract of 11-time Pro Bowl tight end Jason Witten, creating roughly $3.5 million in salary cap space, according to sources. Witten is the second contract the Cowboys have re-worked in the last week, along with Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick, which created nearly $7 million in cap room.

The Steelers have $3.166 million in updated cap space after deals for linebacker Jon Bostic and strong safety Morgan Burnett, whose three-year, $14.35-million pact comes with a $4.25-million signing bonus and $1 million base salary. Filling two defensive needs cost the team a little more than $3 million in 2018 space. Not bad.

Tackle Jared Veldheer told me he feels "good" about being traded to the Denver Broncos. He was a bit surprised at how fast everything happened.

With their acquisition of tackle Jared Veldheer -- for a sixth-round pick -- the Broncos still have nine picks in the April draft, but none after the fifth round. They have four picks in the first 99 picks of the draft and all nine in 163 picks.

The Cardinals trading tackle Jared Veldheer doesn't come as a surprise considering the signings of Andre Smith and Justin Pugh in free agency. Instead of releasing a still-productive tackle, the Cardinals got something in return for Veldheer as they continue to stockpile draft picks. With Veldheer out of the picture for 2018, the Cardinals will likely turn to Smith as their starting right tackle.

The Cardinals traded tackle Jared Veldheer to the Denver Broncos for a sixth-round pick in this year's draft pending Veldheer passing a physical.

I wonder if Tony Romo is familiar with the term DFL (Dead Freaking Last). Cause that's where he finished Friday after shooting 77 - 82 at the PGA Tour's event in the Dominican Republic.
