John Fox might have been screaming "Victory!" after coaching the Denver Broncos to a 51-28 win over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, but apparently the Denver head coach had channeled his inner "Johnny Drama" weeks prior.
According to the Denver Post, Fox checked in under the name of the character from HBO's "Entourage" when he entered a North Carolina hospital for heart surgery last month.
The character of Johnny "Drama" Chase was played by actor Kevin Dillon and was often the butt of jokes for the fictional crew.
Thankfully for the 58-year-old coach, the game was a laugher and there was little drama on Sunday as the Broncos improved to 11-2, and did so in his return to the sideline from the heart procedure.
"I felt great, I really did," Fox said after the game. "It feels great to be back. I had a good week for practicing, energy level and all that. ... I really forgot how fun that was."
