Rent Roman Harper's N.C. apartment to watch Super Bowl 50

When the Panther is away, you can stay.

Panthers safety Roman Harper is offering up his apartment while he is San Francisco as he and his teammates take on the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50 this weekend.

The listing, posted on Airbnb.com, offers a fan and a friend a chance to rent Harper's apartment in Charlotte, North Carolina, for a night and watch Sunday's Super Bowl.

"Come watch me play in the Super Bowl -- from my own couch," the listing promises.

The price to stay there is $5,000, with proceeds going to Harper's Home 41 Foundation. Should a fan rent the apartment, Airbnb will match the donation. Harper said he also will throw in a signed football.

There's a maximum of two guests. "No pets allowed," stipulates the listing. "Especially Broncos."

The listing notes the main television has a 70-inch screen. No parties are allowed.

There aren't any surprises in the photos of the apartment, save for perhaps a "Hello Kitty" rug in the bathroom. Harper has a 4-year old daughter named Londyn and a 1½-year-old daughter named Sydney.

Harper isn't the first athlete to put a home up for rent on the website. Brazilian soccer star Ronaldinho put his home up for rent during the 2014 World Cup, which was played in his country. The home rented for $15,000 a night.
