Miller has spent four seasons with the Jaguars and has been one of their better defensive linemen, but he missed 10 games last season with a torn Achilles tendon. He also was due a $400,000 roster bonus on Monday.
Miller had 106 tackles (nine for loss) and five sacks with the Jaguars. He joined the team in 2013 after spending the first four seasons of his career with Tampa Bay. Miller signed a two-year deal in 2013 and the Jaguars gave him a four-year extension late in the 2014 season. He was scheduled to make $3.6 million this season.
Miller, 29, had a career-high four sacks and a career-high six tackles for loss in 2015 and was playing well before tearing his Achilles on Oct. 16 against Chicago. Miller was one of the team's leaders and usually led the player huddle after warm-ups before each game.
