GLENDALE, Ariz. -- And then there were three more ahead of him.
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald moved into fourth on the NFL's all-time receiving yards list on Sunday when he passed Isaac Bruce with a 12-yard catch against the Los Angeles Rams at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Fitzgerald finished the game with 98 yards on 10 catches, giving him 15,267 yards for his career. He also scored a touchdown in Sunday's 26-14 loss, but said after the game that he doesn't enjoy hitting big milestones when his team loses.
"No, not when you lose to the Rams, a division opponent," he said. "The season hasn't gone the way we had hoped. It's hard to take any joy in losing. When I'm done and retired ... we can reminisce about it but I don't feel good about it now."
He moved into fourth with 4:18 left in the third quarter on a third-and-6 play.
Fitzgerald now sits behind No. 3 Randy Moss, who has 15,292 yards; No. 2 Terrell Owens, who has 15,934; and No. 1 Jerry Rice, who has 22,895.
