We continue in our journey toward the first successful Prime-time Parlay of 2018. Is this the week?
Once again, Prime-time Parlay is all about the best games: Thursday, Sunday and Monday's prime-time games and the top 1 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET Sunday matchups. Straight-up picks, but you gotta hit all five. Then we calculate how much you'd earn for the parlay, utilizing Westgate's money lines.
Via ESPN's Football Power Index, Prime-time Parlay tells you the analytics-based predictions for the meetings of greatest national import, offering the smart picks for the games you'll be watching. (All NFL point spreads and money lines can be found here).
Total payout for Week 6 Prime-time Parlay (selecting all FPI-projected winners in five games): $1,665.37 on $100 wager
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants (8:20 p.m. ET Thursday, Fox/NFL Network)
Money line: Giants +142
FPI projection: Giants win by 0.1 points
Hopefully Eli Manning takes advice to heart, listens to Tha Carter V and actually picks up his play. On the other side of the ball, there's good news: Linebacker Olivier Vernon returns -- something that FPI doesn't know and yet it likes Big Blue (barely) anyway. -- Seth Walder
Seattle Seahawks vs. Oakland Raiders -- London (1 p.m. ET Sunday, Fox)
Money line: Seahawks -150
FPI projection: Seahawks win by 5.6 points
You may have heard from Jon Gruden, but the Raiders are having a hard time getting after the quarterback. The Seahawks actually have a good offensive line. And Russell Wilson, with that much time, will make Oakland pay. -- Seth Walder
Jacksonville Jaguars at Dallas Cowboys (4:25 p.m. ET Sunday, CBS)
Money line: Cowboys +130
FPI projection: Cowboys win by 2.2 points
It sure is sad to see the Jaguars waste this defense on Blake Bortles, who posted a 23.6 Total QBR last week. Please, Jags, trade for Tyrod Taylor. Until that happens, FPI likes the Cowboys. -- Seth Walder
Kansas City Chiefs at New England Patriots (8:20 p.m. ET Sunday, NBC)
Money line: Patriots -185
FPI projection: Patriots win by 5.9 points
As electric as their offense is, until the Chiefs prove to FPI that the defense can be average, it's not going to consider taking Kansas City over New England. Kansas City's D was better last week against the Jags, but it will take more than one game to show that this unit has turned around. -- Seth Walder
San Francisco 49ers at Green Bay Packers (8:15 p.m. ET Monday, ESPN)
Money line: Packers -425
FPI projection: Packers win by 10.8 points
The 49ers have had the sixth-worst offensive efficiency in each of the two weeks they've had C.J. Beathard at quarterback. That doesn't bode well against a Packers team with a seemingly more healthy Aaron Rodgers and an excellent offensive line that gives him time to throw. -- Seth Walder
