Dolphins sign Dante Rosario, Ryan Cook

DAVIE, Fla. -- Tight end Dante Rosario has signed with the Miami Dolphins, who also added versatile offensive lineman Ryan Cook.

The Dolphins released linebacker A.J. Edds on Monday and terminated the contract of offensive lineman Joe Berger.

Rosario made 22 starts for the Carolina Panthers in 2007-10 and had 82 catches for 894 yards and four touchdowns. He was in the Denver Broncos' training camp this year before they released him Saturday.

Cook spent the past five seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and started 40 games at tackle, guard and center. He was also released Saturday.

Edds was a fourth-round draft pick last year, and he missed the entire season with a knee injury. Berger, a seventh-year pro, started four games for Miami last year.
