Tramon Williams inactive vs. Panthers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Green Bay Packers cornerback Tramon Williams was inactive for Sunday's 30-23 win over Carolina due to a bruised right shoulder.

Sam Shields started for Williams, who was hurt in the opener. In addition, Jarius Wynn started for defensive end Mike Neal, who had surgery this week due to a lingering left knee injury.

The other Packers inactives were running back Alex Green, cornerback Davon House, linebacker Frank Zombo, offensive lineman Derek Sherrod and linebacker Vic So'oto.

For Carolina, offensive tackle Jeff Otah sat out with a concussion. Undrafted rookie Byron Bell started in his place.

The other Panthers inactives were quarterback Jimmy Clausen, cornerback Josh Thomas, linebacker Jason Williams, offensive guard Reggie Wells, receiver Kealoha Pilares and defensive tackle Ronald Fields.
