Darren McFadden out vs. Chargers

SAN DIEGO -- The Oakland Raiders will have kicker Sebastian Janikowski Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers.

Running back Darren McFadden did not make the trip and will not play.

Janikowski has been nursing a hamstring injury, while McFadden has been slowed by a sprained ankle.

McFadden missed the Raiders' walkthrough Wednesday's and has not practiced at all since injuring his right foot in the first quarter of the Raiders' 28-0 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Oct. 23.

The NFL's leading rusher through the first month of the season has been wearing a walking boot all week and has also needed crutches to get around.

Left guard Kris Dielman, outside linebacker Shaun Phillips and wide receiver Malcom Floyd are among the inactives for the Chargers.

Dielman (concussion) and Phillips (foot) are missing their third straight game. Floyd is missing his second straight game.

Also inactive for the Chargers are wide receiver Bryan Walters, safety Steve Gregory, linebacker Darryl Gamble and defensive end Luis Castillo.

Also inactive for the Raiders are guard Bruce Campbell, cornerbacks Chris Johnson and DeMarcus Van Dyke, safety Michael Huff and quarterbacks Terrelle Pryor and Jason Campbell.
