Pacman Jones trial likely to be delayed

CINCINNATI -- A trial for Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is expected to get pushed back.

Jones is scheduled to have a non-jury trial Thursday morning in Hamilton County Municipal Court. He's charged with misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for an incident at a downtown bar in July.

Defense lawyer Edward Perry says Wednesday that the trial will likely be delayed. Jones won't have to be in court.

Prosecutors in Las Vegas decided this week that Jones won't do jail time there as a result of his arrest in Cincinnati. He was on probation in connection with his no-contest plea in 2007 to a strip club melee that left three people wounded. Instead, he will have to do an additional 75 hours of community service.
