INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent offensive lineman Jake Kirkpatrick and quarterback Trevor Vittatoe to the roster.
The moves come one day after the team officially released Peyton Manning.
Kirkpatrick was the Rimington Trophy winner at TCU and spent training camp with Indianapolis last summer. He was an undrafted free agent.
Vittatoe was in camp last summer with the Chicago Bears, but was cut before the regular season. He resurfaced with the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League. He started for four seasons at Texas-El Paso and was the school's career leader in yards passing and touchdowns.
