Source: Calvin Johnson likely to play

Despite sitting out Wednesday's practice with a foot injury, Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is expected to play Sunday night against the San Francisco 49ers, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Johnson was a full participant in practice on Thursday.

Johnson caught six passes for 111 yards in the Lions' season-opening win against the St. Louis Rams.

For the 49ers, wide receiver Ted Ginn (ankle) and running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) did not practice Thursday.

Linebacker NaVorro Bowman (shoulder) and punter Andy Lee (hand) were both full participants.
