Reports: Eagles add Connor Barwin

Former Houston Texans outside linebacker Connor Barwin has signed a six-year, $36 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN and media reports.

The 26-year-old linebacker had a breakout season in 2011, leading the league's second-best defense with 11½ sacks.

His sacks total dipped to three in 2012, however, as he was moved from weakside linebacker to the strong side after teammate Brooks Reed suffered a groin injury.

The Eagles also signed cornerback Cary Williams and safety Kenny Phillips on Thursday.
