Report: Pierre Garcon cleared

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon has been cleared to practice when the team reports for training camp Wednesday, according to the Washington Post.

Garcon had offseason surgery on the labrum in his right shoulder and received a clean bill of health from Dr. James Andrews earlier this week, the Post reported.

Garcon had 44 receptions for 633 yards and four touchdowns in just 10 games last season -- his first with the Redskins -- as he battled foot problems.

The 26-year-old receiver has missed all of the team's offseason practices so far, but has worked on the side with second-year quarterback Robert Griffin III, according to the Post.
