Who calls the plays for the Colts?

Offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski has done well to build a decent offense around Jacoby Brissett with Andrew Luck out for the season.

The Colts have activated safety Clayton Geathers off the physically unable to perform list. Geathers suffered a neck injury on a fourth-down stop to seal the Colts' victory against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11 last season. He missed the following game because of a concussion and eventually was placed on injured reserve on Dec. 12 with the neck injury. Geathers tried every option possible before eventually deciding to have surgery in March.

Pats' perfect night leads Week 10 special teams

It doesn't get more efficient than the Patriots' third phase on Sunday night, with a kick-return TD, a blocked punt and a fumble recovery. The 49ers' special teams also shined in the team's first win of the year, with the Jags and Colts rounding out the top four.

Not much changed for Colts' outlook

Indianapolis' chances of reaching the postseason haven't hovered above 2 percent in ESPN's FPI since Week 3. But Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh actually decreased their chances of landing a top-5 pick, to below 80 percent.

Pagano says medical staff handled Brissett fine

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said his team's medical staff properly handled its evaluation of quarterback Jacoby Brissett on Sunday. Pagano said the team will send video of the hit on Brissett to the NFL, as he thinks a penalty should have been called.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Rashaan Melvin, who has been the team's No. 1 cornerback this season, followed Steelers receiver Antonio Brown "because he asked for it. He said let me have him." Melvin held Brown to two catches for 15 yards on six targets until the speedy receiver had a 32-yard reception late in the fourth quarter to help put Pittsburgh in position for the game-winning field goal.

Colts coach Chuck Pagano said they plan to send the NFL the video of the play that sent QB Jacoby Brissett to the medical tent in the third quarter of Sunday's game against Pittsburgh. Steelers defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt was not flagged for what looked to be a helmet-to-helmet hit. Brissett returned to the game on the following offensive series. He didn't address the media after the game because the Colts announced that he developed concussion symptoms after the game. Brissett's still currently in the concussion protocol.

Brissett sells the run, fires deep

Both of Jacoby Brissett's touchdown passes Sunday came off play action and were thrown at least 30 yards downfield. The last QB to have multiple such TD passes in the same game was Sam Bradford, for the Eagles in Week 4 of 2015. Overall, Brissett was 5-of-8 for 155 yards and two TDs using play action, after recording just two such TDs in his first nine games combined. (ESPN Stats & Info)

Colts criticized as Brissett in protocol after loss

After the Indianapolis Colts' 20-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett entered the concussion protocol. Brissett took a shot to the back of the head from Steelers defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt.

Colts announce that QB Jacoby Brissett will not talk to the media because he's now in the concussion protocol. A team spokesman said he developed symptoms after the game.

It's only fitting that that Colts head into the bye by blowing another double-digit lead in the second half. That's been one of the theme at times this season for the Colts. They did it against Arizona and against Tennessee earlier this season. Indianapolis squandered a 17-7 lead in its 20-17 loss to the Steelers to head into the bye with a 3-7 record.

Brissett makes rare Colts history

Jacoby Brissett is the first Colts player with four touchdown passes of 60 or more yards in a season since Johnny Unitas in 1966. Only Unitas has had more of such passes in a season in Colts history, with five in 1960. (ESPN Stats & Info)

Scott Tolzien went on the field at quarterback for the Colts, but then Jacoby Brissett ran on at the last second.
