At least $9,115 but possibly $18,231 as repeat offender. Mitchell got a facemark penalty late last season.

For their humanitarian work in Haiti, Steelers CB Coty Sensabaugh and wife Dominique will be honored as part of the Points of Light's 2017 Tribute Awards at the Embassy of France on Thursday. Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and wildlife advocates Jack and Suzi Hanna will also be recognized. The Sensabaugh's mission is fighting global poverty.

After Alex Smith was able to watch Mike Mitchell's low hit on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback said Tuesday that the hit was "extremely late" and "as flagrant as it gets."

FPI: Steelers have stranglehold on AFC North

Dethroning the NFL's last remaining unbeaten team has done wonders for the Steelers in ESPN's FPI. In beating the Chiefs, Pittsburgh's chances to win its division jumped nearly 25 percentage points, and it now owns the NFL's fourth-best chances to win the Super Bowl.
