With Nick Mangold's pending release, I believe there are only 11 players out of the 255 drafted in 2006 still with the team that drafted them: Chad Greenway (Vikings), Tamba Hali (Chiefs), Marcedes Lewis (Jaguars), Andrew Whitworth (Bengals), Jahri Evans (Saints), Stephen Gostkowski (Patriots), Domata Peko (Bengals), Kyle Williams (Bills), Kedric Golston (Redskins), Sam Koch (Ravens), Zach Strief (Saints). With many of these players about to be free agents, or even retire, that number could dwindle even more come March.

Bengals have been awarded four compensatory picks in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh rounds after losing Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu, Reggie Nelson, Andre Smith and Emmanuel Lamur in free agency. They have a total of 11 picks in the 2017 draft.

Bengals should sign Pierre-Paul

While Cincinnati had a solid pass rush last season, the addition of Jason Pierre-Paul would likely make their defensive front enormously effective.

The Bengals are signing CB Bene' Benwikere to a one-year deal, according to his agent Bardia Ghahremani. He chose the Bengals over several teams after visiting yesterday. He could be a CB that plays either outside or inside and compete for a starting spot with the secondary situation in-flux. Tom Pelissero first reported the news.

Adam Jones could use a change of scenery

Cornerbacks rarely continue to play at a high level past their mid-30s, and Jones, who was recently arrested, has a history of off-the-field issues and could fall under the league's personal conduct policy, potentially resulting in a suspension this season.

Will Ken Anderson ever get into the Hall of Fame?

Among quarterbacks, the former MVP holds less than a 20 percent chance of induction into Canton. Are other parts of his resume enough to compensate for the lack of a Super Bowl title?

Bengals claimed WR Chris Brown off the waivers from Dallas. He spent the season on IR after breaking his foot in training camp. Could see a lot of competition at the WR spot behind Green going into this summer's camp.
