Cardinals coach Bruce Arians was asked what the difference is between a good team and a Super Bowl contending team. His response: "Quarterbacks." He said there are 10 or 12 quarterbacks currently in the NFL who could lead their teams to the Super Bowl.

Cardinals WR John Brown was at practice during the open portion Monday. He's still suffering from headaches almost a month after a concussion but coach Bruce Arians said the team is unsure of their cause. Arians said Brown has had two concussion free days in a row and will hopefully have a third today after exercising.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians' full quote on Colin Kaepernick's decision to not stand for the Star-Spangled Banner over the weekend: "I respect his right as an American. Freedom of speech is one thing. I disagree with it. I want to stand and cheer for all the people who've lost their life of every race and religion, gender, defending that flag. So it's not my opinion, but I respect his right."

The Arizona Cardinals announced 11 cuts and two other roster moves on Monday: G Jake Bernstein, WR Amir Carlisle, TE Gerald Christian, T Clay DeBord, LS Daniel Dillon, DT Iosia Iosia, WR Franky Okafor, CB Shaun Prater, P Garrett Swanson and S Tyrequek Zimmerman were released, QB Jake Coker (knee) was waived/injured, and CB Mike Jenkins (knee) was placed on IR. That puts Arizona's roster at 77 players. They have to be at 75 by 4 pm ET Tuesday.
