"When you're in this (AFC East) division (and) he gets traded away (from New England) you're thinking, ‘Alright, we don't have to deal with him anymore,' and here he comes again." -- Dolphins coach Adam Gase on thinking he wouldn't have to worry about facing Chandler Jones anymore after he got traded from the New England Patriots. No sign of Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu at open portion of practice. OL Earl Watford was working at first-team RG in place of John Wetzel. WR John Brown was working with a trainer on a side field. Looks like another veteran day off for QB Carson Palmer and WR Larry Fitzgerald.

Just how much are the Cardinals using running back David Johnson as a receiver? His 408 passing routes this season are more than Brandon Marshall (404), Demaryius Thomas (403) and Julio Jones (391).

Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was named the team's Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year on Wednesday. He's now eligible to be named the NFL's Man of the Year, which will be announced during the NFL Honors show the night before Super Bowl LI.

Campbell, Jones will be coveted Cards

If the Cardinals let defensive stars Calais Campbell and Chandler Jones hit the market, the two will almost certainly command a high price. Elsewhere, one Insider is picking Arizona over Miami as Week 14's biggest upset. Insider roundtable

Cardinals running back David Johnson was named the NFC offensive player of the week for the second time this season. Johnson earned the honor after tallying 175 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. He's he first Cardinal to be named The NFC's OPOW twice in the same season since Kurt Warner did it in 2009.

The Cardinals signed P Matt Wile to their practice squad today and released LB Reshard Cliett. Wile punted against Arizona two weeks ago with the Falcons and averaged 58 yards on two punts. He was brought in to compete with Drew Butler, whose distance has been an issue this season.
