According to ESPN Football Power Index: The Rams had an 81% chance after starting season 8-0 to earn No. 1 seed in the NFC. But since Week 9, they've gone 3-3, including a loss to the Saints, and now only have a 14% chance at that No. 1 spot.

Can Rams succeed without Cooper Kupp? (0:34)

Seth Walder ESPN Analytics

The Saints now have an 84% chance to earn the No. 1 seed in the NFC, according to FPI's live projections.

This might not get to the root of what has been going on, but I found it interesting regardless: Since Cooper Kupp went down in Week 10, the Rams' 3rd-down percentage has gone from 45.3 to 32.6. Kupp — a crisp route runner with sure hands and great field awareness — was Jared Goff's most trusted 3rd-down option for a reason.

Todd Gurley, previously questionable to return because of a knee injury, is back in the game for the Rams after missing a series.

Rams RB Todd Gurley is questionable to return because of a knee injury. Gurley is on the sideline doing knee ups, jogging in place, and still has helmet on.

A week after Sean McVay failed to utilize defending NFL Offensive Player of the Year Todd Gurley in a loss to the Bears, Gurley has completed a bulk of the work in the first half against the Eagles and the teams are tied, 13-13, at halftime. Gurley has rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown in 10 carries. Last Sunday, he only rushed for 28 yards in 11 carries the entire game.

Rams backup RB Justin Davis is questionable to return because of a shoulder injury. Rams also have rookie John Kelly active.

Best bets for Eagles-Rams

The Rams are big home favorites against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Will they cover? Here are our best bets for the game.

David Purdum ESPN Staff Writer

The Los Angeles Rams opened as low as 7.5-point favorites over the Philadelphia Eagles at some sportsbooks. With Eagles QB Carson Wentz ruled out, the Rams are now consensus 13-point favorites.

Lindsey Thiry ESPN

Sean McVay, on preparing for Eagles QB Nick Foles: "Getting ready for a great offense – the system, the scheme, a guy that's played really good football for them when he's had to come in and fill in for Carson. So, some of the things – but it really doesn't change our approach, but we are expecting it to be Nick, but you never say never."
