Quarterbacks Case Keenum and Teddy Bridgewater both admitted Monday that they are uncertain whether the Vikings want them to return in 2018.

Philadelphia's run-pass option dismantled teams throughout the 2017 season. It was no different for the Vikings defense in the NFC Championship. Defensive tackle Tom Johnson said they were anticipating Nick Foles would drop back further instead of stay in the middle of the pocket. Foles thrived off the use of play-action passes, going 10-for-11 for 105 yards and a touchdown on those throws Sunday night.

Mike Zimmer classified Pat Elflein's lower left leg injury as 'serious' last night but said there was no point in talking about injuries because the Vikings season is over. The rookie center left the locker room on crutches and in a walking boot. We'll hear from Zimmer tomorrow at his season-ending press conference.

NFL execs predict Case Keenum's 2018 deal

How much will the market value Keenum this offseason compared to 2017, when the Vikings signed him as insurance? League personnel evaluate the QB's future after a surprise season.

Veteran guard Joe Berger discussed the possibility of retiring last week and said he's leaning towards it again when asked after the Vikings loss: "In this moment, it's too hard to decide that," Berger said. "In my mind, yes I guess. But I need to get back and relax and let the season sink in and see what I want to do and what there is for offers in the first place. If nobody wants me, it makes the decision easy. Right now it's too early but that is what I'm thinking."

Mike Zimmer was first asked about the way he felt Case Keenum played and had a follow up on the performance of Rashod Hill at right tackle. Zimmer says he's not going evaluate anyone's performance tonight and that if people are looking for someone to blame, the blame can be on him. "I'm not going to grade anybody's performance tonight," Zimmer. "I think there was a lot of performances that could have been a lot better, including myself."

Terence Newman sat in disbelief on a stool facing his locker in the minutes after the loss. He didn't think the Vikings had a hangover from last week's thriller, but Minnesota couldn't recover from an early let down: "Started out pretty quick, fast then it just went down hill. It didn't seem like we had a whole lot of energy. Like they wanted it more."
