Paying now for Ingram better for Bolts

The Chargers want to keep intact their one-two pass-rush punch of Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa. A long-term deal similar to what DE Olivier Vernon got last year from the Giants would be difficult (impossible?) for them to match.

Ex-WR jailed for $400K alimony, child support bill

Ex-NFL wideout Robert Meachem can be released once $100,000 of the nearly $400,000 he owes in alimony and child support has been paid to his ex-wife, Andrea Rhodes.

Chargers season tickets will cost between $70 and $375 per game. Last year, Rams charged between $40 and $225, and those prices are expected to remain flat in 2017. Chargers' prices not totally surprising, though. Their stadium, StubHub Center, seats only about 30,000, about a third less than the Coliseum. They need to maximize their ticket revenue and are banking on demand far exceeding supply.

Ingram is Chargers' biggest free-agent decision

The Bolts are a lot closer to contending than their meddlesome 2016 record would suggest. Will Melvin Ingram be part of the equation in 2017?
