2017 Schedule
8-5, 2nd in AFC South

Seth Walder ESPN Analytics

The Jaguars are a much better team (in FPI's mind) than the Titans and hold a one-game lead in the standings. Therefore they are solid favorites to win the AFC South. Tennessee has a 22.5% chance to win the division still, though.

I've never seen Marcus Mariota as upset as he was in his press conference after Titans loss. Visibly angry and short. He said he was "pissed off." All around bad day day for Titans.

Marcus Mariota said he hurt his knee sliding awkwardly on a run early in the game. He said it's fine.

Marcus Mariota: "Frustration is an understatement... I've got to stop hurting this team."

Titans last play of the game was a throw to CB Adoree' Jackson. He said they hadn't practiced the play before. They just told him his route. Pass went his way. Interesting and sort of a statement toward trust level of WR core overall.

Taylor Lewan said he has back spasms. He'll have a MRI, but he doesn't anticipate it being a long-term issue. He says he woke up sore and with tightness. He was apologized in locker room to teammates for not finishing the game.

Henry dives for the pylon for TD (0:28)

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Derrick Henry's stiff arm is undefeated. Not many big backs can get to the outside with the frequency and effectiveness of Henry. That's his 5th TD of the year.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Taylor Lewan has a lower back injury, questionable to return. Dennis Kelly has replaced him at LT.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Marcus Mariota and Taywan Taylor couldn't connect on a potential deep play to start the game. Titans offense has been looking for more explosive plays. They have to capitalize when they're open.

Cameron Wolfe ESPN Staff Writer

Rishard Matthews officially active and returns after missing last two games with hammy injury. Titans inactives: Luke Stocker, Harry Douglas, Derrick Morgan, Curtis Riley, Brandon Weeden, Corey Levin, Kalan Reed.
