DE Trey Flowers (concussion) and S Patrick Chung (concussion) did not practice for the second day in a row, while starting right tackle (calf), CB Keion Crossen (hamstring), S Nate Ebner (hip) and CB Eric Rowe (groin) were limited along with Gordon and Gronkowski.

WR Josh Gordon, whose locker is directly next to Tom Brady's, was limited in his first practice with the Patriots (hamstring). Others limited in practice include OT Marcus Cannon (calf), CB Keion Crossen (hamstring), S Nate Ebner (hip) and CB Eric Rowe (groin). RB Sony Michel (knee) and DE Deatrich Wise Jr. (finger) had full participation, while DE Trey Flowers (concussion) and S Patrick Chung (concussion) did not participate.

Rob Gronkowski likes to keep it light. Asked if there was excitement to have another big target on the field in Josh Gordon, he smiled and said, "Being here, there really isn't too much excitement." Then he took a step back, and laughed at his own humor.

Safety Patrick Chung and defensive end Trey Flowers, both of whom left Sunday's loss in Jacksonville with concussions, were not present at the media-access portion of practice Wednesday. Meanwhile, RB Kenjon Barner was not spotted, which indicates that he was the player released to make room for the return of CB/PR Cyrus Jones.
