By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Transferred from East Mississippi Junior College and won All-Gulf South Conference recognition in 2001, when he had 56 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and 7½ sacks. Had 74-13-6 and won All-Conference honors again in '02. One- and three-technique defensive tackle.Positives: Big and bulky with natural size and strength. Has a quick first step and the power to split the double team, push the pocket and control the line at this level. Has been dominating in spurts on this level.Negatives: Overweight and not in great shape. Runs out of gas and really falls off when he gets tired. Lacks longer speed and a closing burst. Needs better technique and use of hands.Summary: A quality free agent who could be a late pick if he works out well. Will have a chance if he loses the junior-college mentality and really works his butt off.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
