By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Was starting by the third game of the 1999 season as a 17-year-old freshman and held the job until a right knee injury and scope caused him to miss the last three games. Came back to start every game in the middle in 2000. Was overweight and out of shape in '01 but still started 10 games. Shared time in '02. Recorded 42 tackles, five for loss, zero sacks, one pass broken up and no interceptions as a true freshman. Had 99-12-3-8-1 in 2000, when he also recovered four fumbles. Really fell off in '01 with 49-6-1-6-0 and in '02, when he had 49-4-1-3-1 and was not a full-time starter.Positives: Has the size, frame and natural strength to play inside.Negatives: Overweight. Lacks movement skills and agility. Likes to guess and will leave gaping holes in the defense. Production plummeted in his junior and season seasons. Doesn't have the upper-body strength to shed and dodges a lot of blocks.Summary: Has regressed and, unless he gets into much better shape, will be a free agent at best.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
