Corey Chambers

OT | (0-0, 285) | Oregon
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Redshirted in 1998. Began the '99 season as a starter but hurt his left shoulder, missed four games and never regained the starting job. Started three games in 2000. Missed spring '01 practice after shoulder surgery but returned to start the second game and the remainder of the season. Played both OT positions. Started five of 12 games last season.

Positives: Has started at guard and tackle. Is a good, disciplined person who flashes athletic ability. Fitness guy who lost too much weight and can get a lot bigger and stronger. Good effort, long arms and big hands. Smart, versatile performer who has played every OL position except center.

Negatives: Marginal size and strength with a 285-pound bench-press, 385-pound squat and 24-inch vertical jump. Gets pushed and bull-rushed. Inconsistent off the ball and at times stops his feet. Can look clumsy on the second level and can be lazy. Must get a lot bigger and stronger.

Summary: Undersized but versatile and somewhat athletic lineman who lacks the strength most NFL teams like inside. He could develop if he gets a chance and commits more time to the weight room.
