Notes: Redshirted in 1998. Started one of 11 games in '99 and all 11 games in 2000. Started the five games in which he played in '01  started games One through Four before hurting his left knee in practice. Returned to start Game 10 but reinjured his knee. Started 12 games in '02, including the first four at left guard and the final eight at left tackle, earning second-team All-Mid-America Conference honors.

Positives: Massive and uses his size and strength well. Alert. Has a good anchor and generally good balance. Sets up quickly in pass protection.

Negatives: Flabby and not defined. Struggles blocking on the second level. Has a weight problem. Waist-bender with very average quickness and agility. Phone-booth player who lunges at times and struggles moving laterally outside.

Summary: Needs to get in better shape and stay healthy to be worth bringing to camp.
