QB | (0-0, 224) | Auburn
By Pro Football WeeklyNotes: Well-traveled quarterback who spent six years in college. In 2000, appeared in three games, completing one of six passes for 10 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. Started four of eight games in '01, completing 89-158-1,165-7-7. Appeared in eight games as a backup to Jason Campbell in '02, completing 80-150-1,175-7-5.Positives: Has good size, strength and decent arm strength. Is well-built and has a good, quick, over-the-top release. Plays hard every down and shows good touch on most of his throws. Negatives: Lacks an NFL arm on more than intermediate routes, especially outs. Can bird-dog receivers and will be flushed out of the pocket with minimal pressure. Seems to be easily confused against position blitzes, needs to take more sacks and hang in the pocket.Summary: Cobb lacks most skills teams look for in NFL quarterbacks.* Player biographies are provided by Pro Football Weekly.
