Robert Morgan

WR | (0-0, 190) | Florida State
By Pro Football Weekly

Notes: Forty time is from 2001. Caught six passes for 85 yards as a true freshman in 1998. Played in all 12 games as a sophomore in '99, catching 16-245. Started the first nine games in 2000 and caught 19-366 and three touchdowns before a toe injury sidelined him for the last three regular-season games. Redshirted in '01 after he tore his left anterior cruciate ligament and medial collateral ligament in practice Aug. 21. Came back to play in every game and to start eight in '02 but caught only 16-160-1.

Positives: Hard worker who will hustle and compete. Willing blocker. Should get better because he will work at it and was coming off a knee injury. Elusive after the catch. Quick hands. Effort player.

Negatives: Lacks explosive speed and strength and seems to lack soft, natural hands. Is not very sudden and really struggles to get separation. Not a true burner. Does not always look ball in. Does not have the power to break many tackles. Coming off a serious knee injury and looked slower in '02.

Summary: Looked like just an average college player in '02.
