Goaltender Craig Anderson of the Senators, left winger Andrew Cogliano of the Ducks and center Derek Ryan of the Hurricanes are the three finalists for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, which is awarded "to the player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship and dedication to hockey," the NHL announced today. The award usually goes to a player who has overcome personal or professional challenges to play in the league. The Professional Hockey Writers Association votes on the award.
