Goalie recalled after stretch in minors

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Sabres recalled goaltender Ryan Miller on Monday from Rochester of the American Hockey League.

Miller started the year in Buffalo and played in two games,
including the team's season opener, before being sent to Rochester
on Oct. 15.

He was 0-2 with a 4.07 goals-against average with the Sabres.

In 18 games with Rochester, Miller was 8-6-4 with three
shutouts. He ranks second among AHL goaltenders with a 1.58 goals
against average and a .945 save percentage.

With the addition of Miller, Buffalo now has three goaltenders.
The others are Mika Noronen, who was injured Monday in practice, and Martin Biron.
