PHOENIX -- The Los Angeles Kings activated defenseman Brad Norton on
Wednesday from the injured reserve after he had missed the first three months of the season due to hand surgery.
Norton has been out since suffering a forearm laceration during
the first period of a preseason game at Phoenix on Sept. 30.
He is expected to play Wednesday night in Phoenix.
The 28-year-old Norton appeared in a career-high 53 games and
collected three goals and 97 penalty minutes last season with
the Kings. A ninth-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 1993,
Norton has eight points and 142 penalty minutes in 75 career
The Kings still have eight players on IR and have lost a total
of 279 man-games due to injury this season.
