Jovanovski hurts shoulder

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Vancouver defenseman Ed Jovanovski left the Canucks' game against Nashville on Sunday night because of a right shoulder injury.

Jovanovski was driving hard to the Nashville net in the first
period on a short-handed break and dove for Mike Keane's pass. He
missed and, with Nashville forward Martin Erat on his back, slid
hard into the end boards with his right shoulder.

Jovanovski, who has seven goals and 21 points, lay on the ice in
obvious pain while a trainer attended to his right shoulder.
