Goalie off injured list for Kings' run at playoff berth

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Kings, who are
battling for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference,
have their No. 1 goaltender back for the stretch drive.

The Kings activated Roman Cechmanek from the injured list and
assigned goaltender Milan Hnilicka to Manchester of the American
Hockey League.

Cechmanek missed the last 12 games with a groin injury. He has
played in 44 contests for Los Angeles this season, posting an
18-16-6 record with a 2.43 goals-against average and five

The Kings went 6-4-2 without Cechmanek and are ninth in the
West, one point behind Nashville and two in back of St. Louis.
Cristobal Huet started nine games in Cechmanek's absence.

Hnilicka appeared in only two games for Los Angeles this season,
going 0-1-0 with a 3.75 goals-against.
