Coyotes recall right wing Brendl

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Phoenix Coyotes recalled right winger
Pavel Brendl from the minor-league San Antonio Rampage on Saturday.
Brendl will be available to play in Saturday's home game against
the Minnesota Wild.
Brendl, 24, was assigned to the minor leagues after being
acquired from the Carolina Hurricanes on Dec. 28. He scored seven goals
in 13 games with San Antonio.
Brendl has played three seasons in the NHL and appeared in 76
games. The Czech native was chosen by the New York Rangers as the
fourth overall pick in the 1999 NHL draft.
