Wild lose Hill to ankle sprain

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild placed defenseman
Sean Hill on injured reserve Monday, following a sprained ankle he
suffered in Friday's game at Chicago.

Hill has two assists and 11 shots on goal in 21 games for the
Wild. He is a minus-seven for the season.

Forward and unofficial enforcer Derek Boogaard (back) remains on
injured reserve, but the Hill move creates an opportunity for the
team to activate Boogaard this week if he's deemed ready to play.
The Wild host Calgary on Wednesday and Anaheim on Friday.

The 37-year-old Hill, in his first season with Minnesota, missed
the first 19 games under NHL suspension for testing positive last
spring for a banned steroid drug.
