Steen to miss 10 to 14 days; Boyce out indefinitely

TORONTO -- Toronto Maple Leafs center Alex Steen is expected to miss 10 to 14 days because of a separated right shoulder, and center Darryl Boyce is out indefinitely with a separated left shoulder.

They were injured Thursday night in Toronto's loss in Washington.

The 23-year-old Steen has 10 goals and 24 points in 50 games for the Maple Leafs this season. Boyce was making his NHL debut when he was injured against the Capitals.

Toronto is already without forward Alex Ponikarovsky, expected to miss six weeks because of a dislocated right shoulder.
