Maple Leafs' Sundin to miss game vs. Sabres with groin injury

TORONTO -- Toronto Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin sat out the game against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday because of a groin injury. Buffalo won the game 6-2.

Sundin suffered the injury in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Sundin had eight goals and eight assists during a nine-point streak that ended in the win over the Flyers.

Forward Mark Bell will return to the Leafs' lineup and wear a mask to protect an orbital bone injury.
