Nolan comes off IR; Wild send Kolanos to AHL

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild activated right winger Owen Nolan from injured reserve on Thursday.

Nolan missed eight of the last 11 games with a leg injury. He has one goal and three assists in five games this season.

To make room for Nolan, the Wild sent center Krys Kolanos to their AHL affiliate in Houston. Kolanos scored one goal in two games while filling in for Nolan.

The Wild are still without star Marian Gaborik. His injured groin has kept him off the ice for 12 straight games.
