CHICAGO -- Pavel Datsyuk was not in the lineup for Game 3 of the Western Conference finals on Friday night.

The Hart Trophy nominee was injured blocking a shot in Game 2, although he played the entire game. He did not practice Thursday and he was not on the ice for Friday's morning skate.

Ville Leino replaced Datsyuk in the lineup, appearing in his first NHL playoff game of his career.

Veteran forward Kirk Maltby also replaced rookie forward Justin Abdelkader in the lineup for Friday night's game.
