Kevin Dineen complains about ice

NEWARK, N.J. -- Florida Panthers coach Kevin Dineen blasted the quality of the ice surface at Prudential Center prior to Wednesday's Game 3 of the Eastern Conference opening-round series against the New Jersey Devils.

"I think their customer service should be embarrassed to see that's what they are putting out there for people to see," Dineen told reporters Tuesday.

"If the ice is anything like it was this morning, it will be a very sloppy game. No fun for the fans. A lot of water out there."

Devils coach Peter DeBoer, formerly the Panthers' coach, did not criticize Florida's home ice surface.

"I love the ice. I know the ice makers down there and I'm not complaining," DeBoer said.

The series is currently tied 1-1.
